Huawei signs the world's largest energy storage project-Dubai 1300Mwh offgird Enerygy storage Project

On October 16, the 2021 Global Digital Energy Summit was held in Dubai. At the meeting, Huawei Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huawei Digital Energy") and Shandong Electric Power Construction Third Project Co., Ltd. The company (hereinafter referred to as "Shandong Power Construction Third Company") successfully signed the Saudi Red Sea New City energy storage project. The two parties will work together to help Saudi Arabia build a global clean energy and green economy center.

The energy storage scale of the project reaches 1300MWh, which is by far the world's largest energy storage project and the world's largest off-grid energy storage project. It has strategic significance and a benchmarking demonstration effect for the development of the global energy storage industry.
